During the 79th PIChE National Convention on February 21, 2018, the creation of this PIChE Academy Website was approved by the General Assembly of the College of Fellows and later by the delegates of the convention. This Academy shall serve as the portal for online courses for the continuing professional development of registered Filipino Chemical Engineers.
Usernames and Passwords are given free to active PIChE members through their chapters, while non-chapter members may apply and may be registered as online member for a minimal fee by emailing their full name and PRC registration number to the PIChE National Secretary at sec@pichenet.org.
The Academy shall offer both fully online and blended courses with approval by the PRC ChE CPD Council. Appropriate enrollment fees shall be charged accordingly based on the credit units approved for the course. Free Learning Modules for faculty members coming from Chemical Engineering Schools shall also be made available at this PIChE Academy. Other free courses may also be opened later for all registered users.
